Electoral Roll Advice Please

Hi
I have Thomas STAINES on the Enfield 1909 Electoral Roll and it states:-

I870 Staines, Thomas 15 Caroline Place, Goat Lane, Enfield House (Successive) 42 Brograve Road, Tottenham and 15 Caroline Place.

My query is what does the House (successive) mean? Does he own both of these house's or has he moved from one to the other? any ideas please?
