Many thanks to all who replied to my query, sorry its late coming to you but Im not sure what Im doing - nearly 75 years of age, still can't find Edward Boyle but I ll keep digging!! Thank all so much Elsie :-)

edward was my grandfather, he was born 1863-4 I think in county antrim he died 1900 the result of an accident at work, his fathers name was peter who was a farmer, edward was in the building trade, thats about as much as I know,

I already have edwards marriage certificate,it gives his fathers name as peter and he was a farmer, can't find him either ! all I know is they came from Ireland. I just want to find where in Ireland they came from, think it was the north.

You might already have this but just in case you haven't the following is a newspaper article in the Liverpool Mercury on Tuesday, February 27, 1900 which could be about your grandfather:

Fatality to a Warrington Man - Yesterday, at Blackburn Infirmary, an inquest was held on the body of Edward Boyle, foreman concretor, of Warrington, who was employed by the Manchester Phoenix Fireproof Flooring Company, and whose death was due to injuries received at Darwen last Thursday. When a crane was being moved he was knocked down, the side of his head striking an iron beam, his skull being fractured. He was removed to the Infirmary, but died on Friday. A verdict of "Accidental Death" was returned.

Iam looking for any info on my grandfather I think he came from county antrim he met and married my grandmother mary eliza gilbert in warrington lancs 1898 he died in 1900 as the result of an accident at work in blackburn lancs I want to find where he came from as I have hit a brick wall
