Haven't found census, just saying that as the marriage wasn't until Q3 then she should be found as Cain.

Bridget's marriage q3 1861 so still Cain for 1861 census. Are you certain she married Edward Boyle rather than James DAvison.

What age would Bridget be?

Surname First name(s) District Vol Page
Marriages Sep 1861 (>99%)
Boyle Edward Alnwick 10b 425
Cain Bridget Alnwick 10b 425
DAVISON James Alnwick 10b 425
MUNN Mary Alnwick 10b 425

Kane...
I am lost with the Peter Kane(1833) down as being buried Westoe...where did you get your info.when did they die..?
I would be suprised if they were buried back home ..usually the families hadn't a penny to Bless themselves with ...it wasn't uncommon in the recent past for folk to go home but
not the time period your looking at.

There are plenty Kane/Cain buried in Harton but I cant see a Peter.
Tyneside archives have the Westoe Burial Book

thanks
yes the kanes and kellys where in northumberland, north sunderland, belford, holywell, murton , backworth
i know kanes exist in holywell
being rc families i am not sure if there churches still exist
the other point puzzling me is although peter 1833 and mary wallace kane 1832(1822) are down as buried in westoe there is no trace of them, being irish could they have been buried in ireland? was it a common practise?
thanks

catherine. and place in ireland she came from
xchecking as i have googled ross more leitrim which is north of longford
