Re your first post. Just so that you have the correct area in your records, it is Ballyboley not Ballybaley. It's a small townland near Greyabbey.

Wow that was quick, Im Impressed!! I dont think Maggie Ann Wilson had any siblings as I think Catherine Wilson died in Co Down in Dec 1891. I dont know what happened to Henry Wilson either, all I know for sure is that he came to England from N.ireland to get a job. That job was a colliery screenman in Co Durham, they lived in Shadforth Village, Margaret Ann (Maggie) was
born there in 1880. They are on the 1881 census, but thereafter not a trace! I think Henry may have died and Catherine took the baby back to ?Grey Abbey Co Down. This is where I think Catherine Wilson died...I have an entry detail from the record type ..Wills calendars, the date of death being 17th Dec 1891 at St Heliers, Strandtown, Co Down. Family rumour has it that her dress caught on fire when she stood on a stool to reach something from the mantel shelf!! I dont know if this is my Gt Grandmother or not, as there were lots of Catherine Wilson's, who died around that time and the death cert doesnt tell me much. Maggie Ann was brought up by an aunt and uncle in Co Down but Im not sure if it was the Wilsons or Morrisons.

Any idea if she had any siblings?
Where in Ireland did they go back to?
Did Margaret stay in England with her Aunty and Uncle?
Do you have any other info that may help?
Where were the family in 1881 census, posting it may help?
Thanks!
