Find Ancestors

Hi folks,
Have just started on my hubby's family tree and have found some info on -

William Rogers born in Kent (folkstone/Dover/Elham) about 1830.

Don't have membership yet of ancestry etc so working on limited census results on the Mormon site quite difficult.

Trying to find parents of William using 1841 and 1851 census no luck -

know he married Charlotte Care (born Folkstone) - Mar 1852 in Elham Kent. (BMD) Have ordered the cert but hope to find out more while waiting for it.

They had son Francis Michael 1865 (BMD)(a direct ancestor)

Would love any help if anyone can check 41 and 51 census and find William with his parents? He was born in the Dover area according to later census records.

Does anyone have the Kent parish records for that area in 1830's? Thanks in advance..

Havent been able to confirm William Rogers birth on mormons site or free parish records so far.

in the 1881 census mother Charlotte Case born 1805 is living with them

Thanks Maddie, yes that should be mother Charlotte Care born circa 1805 living with them. (Care easier to research as quite unusual)

Thanks for your help will have to wait and get fathers name from marriage cert I think - fingers crossed its there.

there is the same thread on genealogy chat board.

Yalding is more than 40 miles from Dover, so you need to wait for that marriage certificate.
