Find Ancestors

I traced my Grt Grandfather William James Else to an 1871 census in Morley Yorkshire which led to the names of his parents, Thomas and Sarah, also to Sarah's parents as they were residing with them.
I traced Thomas and Sarah's marriage certificate which told me they married at Aston Parish church on the 9th June 1868 Sarah's father Joseph Acton was a witness along with an Anne Raynor. Thomas's father was named as James a miner.
Thomas came from Wirksworth in Derbyshire and I have had a wealth of information from the Parish site, however there were two Thomas Else's born in 1841, three months apart both with father's called James. One mother was called Mabel Spencer and the other was Hannah Dean.
I have traced the one who I believe is my Thomas as the son of Mabel moved to Crich then Manchester. I pick up my definite Thomas in Aspull Wigan in 1881.
I can't find any trace of Thomas son of Hannah after 1861 in Wirksworth.
I believe my Thomas is the son of Mabel but would love to confirm I have the right mother.

hello Margee,

I have looked at all the census returns for both Thomas's that I could find. James and Mabel move to Crich and were under the name of Elie in the 1851 census and the name Lee in the 1861 census.

Could you try and find what happened to Thomas Else son of James and Hannah after 1861 please as I've had no luck :-D Thanks x
