Hi Reggie,
Our family is a very complicated one, the Cullens and the Newtons all come from the Easington Lane area of County Durham.
My Auntie was born around the same time that Mary Jane Newton died, roughly 1922, and she was christened Mary Jane Newton Cullen, I've tried in vain so far to get the connection, but I'll keep trying.
thanks for your help, take care.
Edward.

Have advise Edward to get the death cert for facts about her.

Try researching on freebmd

WHO is Mary Jane Newton after whom your aunt is reputedly named?

Have you made any attempt to find the supposed 'link'?

Just to get an idea of year, were you born in Anglesey in 1950?

Were your parents married in County Durham - George & ?? in 1943?
