You have missed the T off twin, I was scratching my head for a bit, sorry.
If their mother was married at the time, they were not illegitimate?

3yrs ago I found out that my mother-in-law was the elderof win girs born to Ellen Maud Smith(nee Wright),They were illegitimate fathers surname was Marshall,I knw what happened to my Mum-inlaw .I have found Edith in 1911census living in ClactonEssex with her mother and siblings, I tried to find her marriage, BUT no luck,I spent a week looking on marriage rolls, there were an awful lot. Can anyone give me any tips on where to look now???Gladys
