Hello Harry, sorry to hear about Sheila and I do hope she's doing OK.

Just notice on Ancestry that someone has this birth record attached to a Claude IVOR Schofield:

England & Wales, Birth Index: 1916-2005
Name: Claude I Schofield
Mother's Maiden Surname: Cook
Date of Registration: Jul-Aug-Sep 1916
Registration district: Chorlton
Inferred County: Lancashire
Volume Number: 8c
Page Number: 1102

Might be a red herring but thought it worth mentioning, even if just for elimination.

(PS - the cat is adorable!)

Good morning , I am looking for the death date of Ivor Schofield, who was born in Yorkshire (?) about 1916 I know he was in the R A F in 1941 but that's all I know about him I do not think he will be alive now as we have not found a trace of him after WW2
Thank you
