Hi
Thanks to a previous post, i've been able to find out a bit more about my great grandmother. In the 1871 census she is listed as living with her grandmother, Margarer Kelly, in 22 mount st, manchester. The other person in the house is her daughter Sarah Kelly. The strange thing is that margaret is listed as being 67 and sarah as 14, with henrietta 6. Also, henrietta's dad is william conley, so am not sure how this fits with the kelly bit. Am thinking margaret kelly was just a family friend rather than relative.
Can anyone help and also, thought it would be an idea to get hold of william conley's birth certificate but not sure how to go about this and if it could yield results. He was born in leeds, yorks, according to census c. 1826.
Any help appreciated.
Jill
