Sarah had been previously married....and Ashby was her previously married name as from 1901 census.

Sarah Kate Stevens married Walter Ashby at Holy Trinity Rugby Warwickshire 1 march 1892,,,followed a first daughter Catherine baptised in Ashfordsby 4th December 1892.

other Ashby children were born and these appear as ASHBY with William Toon in 1901 as Stepchildren.along with their mother Sarah Kate.
