I am trying to find out where Samuel and Emma are buried. They lived in Putney all their married life from 1861. any other information would be appreciated.

The first thing you need is their last known address which is likely to be on their DCs.

Most (but not all) Church graveyards would be close to full, so its likely that they were buried in a Council one unless there was a family plot elsewhere.

Just googling Putney Cemeteries gives the following results ( + More)

google is your friend ;-)

You could try doing the same for Churches to see if a graveyard was still open at the time.

There may be burial records on line for both Religious and Civil burial places. You could email [email protected] to see what records they hold. If you have to contact the cemeteries directly, they 'may' make a look up charge, as would the library service if you can't search in person
