Sorry, double checked. Esther was born circa 1828. The births above would have been to late to be her, thanks anyway

I'm not sure. Her baptism record is for Esther Hook, would the parents have dropped the 'Louisa' part of her name that quickly? Or possibly omitted a middle name of Louisa, that she later switched?

I have just found a Thomas Williams in 1861, Stoke Dameral, Devon. He is in barracks and a rank of Corporal. Seems feasible, Says this T.W was born abt 1838 St.Johns, Middlesex (anywhere near Hampstead?). He is a sergeant in 1873

Not sure if he was a Thomas 'L'. I can't seem to find much at all on him. Thanks Chris, but he should only be 36 on marriage cert as he was born around 1837ish and married 1873. Regards, Seb
