Find Ancestors

I am trying to trace info about these families from Stanhope, Co Durham.

Specifically I am trying to prove that my ancestor Thomas Philipson/Phillipson (1751-1810?) was the son of the John Philipson (born 1719?) who was himself the son of Nicholas Philipson and Jane Collingwood.

I am descended from Thomas' son William Philipson (born 1798) . His daughter Jane Philipson b 1834 married William Bell and went on to have my great-grandfather George Bell of Langley Park and Lanchester.

If there is anyone else researching this branch of the Philipson family I would love to make contact or if anyone can help with leads I would be very grateful :-D :-D
