hI
THANKS GLITTER BABY.
LOOKING LIKE MAYBE WALTER AND EMMA GOT TO AMERICA FIRST THEN. i KNOW ANOTHER BROTHER, WILLIAM J WHO DIED IN 1900 IN ENGLAND HAD FAMILY WHO ALL ENDED UP LIVING IN AMERICA, BUT HIS WIDOWED WIFE DIED IN CANADA. SO I WAS THINKING THAT MAYBE THEY MOVED THERE TO BE WITH WALTER AND ARNDALLS FAMILY.
THANKS GLITTERBABY, YOUVE BEEN REALLY HELPFUL.
REGARDS
SHIRLEY

Thankyou, yes thasts them. at least i now know he was still in burnley in 1901. I think he moved to america and i think he moved there with his brother perhaps, walter hocking, born around 1869 in cornwall ,. Walter married emma lockett in 1893 in burnley and i can find no deaths etc of them either.
thanks for that glitterbaby. Its interesting that he had a criminal record, i guess that would not stop him in those days from moving to america?
thanks again for that. :-)
