1841 did not give place of birth only if born in county or not

I have a great great grandfather George Plaxton ( born 1811 ). In 1841 census ( in Sheffield ) he states he was born in Rawcliffe ( by Goole ). I think his father was a James Plaxton... wife's name not given. Any info on my ancestors would be gratefully received
