No birth certificate as born in 1829/1830.
His marriage certificate should confirm his father's name, and their occupations and place of residence.
Any idea when he moved from Salisbury to London, and why?

You keep saying you're 'sure' of info, but don't offer any evidence to back it up.

You say in your first post that James died in 1853, but I've shown him to be alive in 1861..........

Start by asking your niece to return the marriage cert.....or at least give you ACCURATE info about what the details on it are.
