He died 1903 at Buxted England.Did he leave a will and if so where would I find a
copy?

nothing showing on ancestry - which is one of the 'usual' places to look'

He could have left a Will which didn't go to Probate, in which case, there will be no record of it

Have you got the death certificate to be sure you have the right one please?

you say he died in Buxted in 1903. This is the only death registered but it is the wrong registration district. Buxted is in Uckfield reg district

if you know the date and place someone died you can apply for a copy of the will - not just a relative's will, anyone's will

No point in applying for a copy of a Will which isn't in the public domain.....that would be £6.00 down the drain.

Thank you for that advice.
Living in NZ as I do I am reluctant to take chances and as you have said waste
money.It can be an expensive exercise
