Did not find the info on the first wife until this morning. And started a new thread for both James and Elizabeths birth to stop confustion, on my parents whom are doing the family tree

James Cutler married 27/5/1774 to Susan Copen she was buried on 26/1/1781
Belcham Walter,as was his second marriage.

when she married James cutler both were down as widowed. Some one managed to find both the previous marriages.

Essex is poorly-covered on the LDS site

You may need to visit the County Records Office

Can you say why you think Elizabeth married in 1776 if you aren't sure of her surname at the time

And what sort of time-scale are you thinking of for their births?

Please can anyone help find the births of james cutler and elizabeth carder elizabeth had been married before marrying james in 1787. Her first marriage was 1776 her her maiden name we think must have been cant both from the essex area.
