Find Ancestors

I watched the midwives on tv xmas day and a nurse found an old ladies children who all died in a workhouse also found where they were buried
So why cant I as my 3rd grt grandparents William Mc Dowell and Mary Ann Gerrys children died in Stoke Damerel Devon and nobody can help me find were they were buried as I am unable to go down there myself

How did you find out the exact dates of death?

Most of them were before certs were issued.................

I have tried emailing the registry office in devon and i was a member of the devon society were i did get a lot of info as well as genes reunited members also i bought a couple of death certificates my relative in australia has helped me as shes a member of ancestry but she cant help me with deaths or were they were buried as i beleave the cemetry in stoke damerel was built on i did try other cemetrys but had no replies
which church should i contact
