I have just found out that Elizabeth's husband left her in 1870 £450 which is alot of money. I have found her on the 1871 census but not on 1881 so I think she may have died by then, I am now hoping to find out how much she left and to who as she had no children. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks also to the person who found the original information. Cheers Jayne |

Forgot to add Elizabeth's husband was Charles Chapple 1808 - 1870 Bristol. They married in 1853, she was Elizabeth Bishop. |

There's this one but she died Oct. 1881 so should have been on the census. She left only 39 pounds. Executrix was niece Fanny Fishley Buckingham of 168 Euston Rd., Middlesex. |

Her sister? This is schedule 39 for Hewish. Schedule 41 starts Palmer's End. |

But remember, Jayne, the probate records don't tell who the money was left to, just the name of the executors. You have to buy the will to see who benefited. |
