can't find Rachel DOWLING birth? somerset

Hello,

I'm stuck :(

Rachel DOWLING.
married John LACEY. on 24 Dec 1739 ,Chowton Mendip .

her Parish is on marriage record as : Ston Easton .

there are DOWLING'S there as been looking though the ancestor atlas etc. i just can't find Her. i'd like her Birth/baptism , to hopefully discover a parent. or sibling etc.

Can anyone offer advice where to find her birth as i've tried all my usual revenues to look and i'm having a brickwall moment.

(she had 7 children, in SOMERSET, most in Farrington Gurney.)

Not all records have been transcribed and put on line.

Try the County Records Office

darn, it's 172 miles away,, do records offices, have a service you can pay for that searches for you?
