I can't validate the info posted on other people's trees, I merely offer it as it appears.... but yes, it's a bit suss !

jax Report 28 Jan 2013 17:18

BeverleyW... Is'nt that the same link I have already posted?

Mike was Abrahams mother really only 9 when he was born?

BeverleyW Report 28 Jan 2013 17:06

Doesn't look like the Namur was lost in the Great Storm.

Hello Norma and welcome to the Community Boards.

Several members on this site have an Abraham Murcott in their trees. If you click on Search above and then on Search All Trees, you can fill in what details you know to see if you have any connection on here. You can then contact the tree owners for further details. Cx

Slightly different information, but no mention of Great Storm etc:

jax Report 27 Jan 2013 06:04

From a post you made earlier this month on another site

Looks like the same info that can be found on family search

jax Report 27 Jan 2013 05:43

Do you have any idea where he came from? If you know of his decendants where were they born?

Are you sure he was aboard The Namur?

Norma Report 27 Jan 2013 05:17

I am looking for information on Mariner Abraham Murcott who lost his life during the Great Storm on 1703. He was aboard The Namur and all lives were lost. I would appreciate any information about him especially his parents names. Kind regards, Norma in Australia.
