We are desperate to find the final resting place of Mary Tomkins nee Blount, b Greatbridge Staffordshire 1848, she married thomas Tomkins in 1884 at Lindridge Worcestershire, Although she had 7 children there is no mention of the father, the date of death we have for Mary is 1907 in Cleobury Mortimer, can anyone help with the name of the church or place of internment, many thanks. Just to confirm when she married! I assume the children were born prior to this?
Do you have her death cert?

You could check with the parish council to see if they have records of burials from that time:-

CLEOBURY MORTIMER PARISH COUNCIL
MARKET HALL
CHURCH STREET
CLEOBURY MORTIMER
KIDDERMINSTER
DY14 8BX

01299 271154

This is the reference for the death certificate if you haven't already got it:-

Name: TOMKINS, Mary
Registration district: Cleobury Mortimer
County: Shropshire
Year of registration: 1907
Quarter of registration: Jan-Feb-Mar
Age at death: 59
Volume no: 6A
Page no: 461

Hi Jan, unfortunately we do not have the death certificate, and yes all the children were born prior to marriage, the 1901 census says they were living at bayton and mary's last born was living with them. lynn
