Thank you for that. I knew about the Blatch and Batchelor wedding. There was some thought (by some of the family) that Elizabeth Wild Batchelor was an illegitemate daughter of these two. However, later they had a daughter who they named Elizabeth, so I think that was unlikely. But she died aged 30 from TB so Idid wonder if it was in the family.

You will not find a birth before 1837 only parish records you will need to look for a marriage between the parents

Have found a baptism on Find my past, for Elizabeth, b1831, parents are Thomas and Elizabeth, but cannot find her birth. Iwant to know her mothers maiden name. It seems difficult to find these records before 1841. Elizabeth Wild Batchelor, in 1841 census was living with her uncle, Henry Blatch and in 1847 they immigrated to New Zealand.
