Gail, if you look to the left of the pages there's a link "My Threads" - that takes you back to all threads you've started or posted on. If you need further help on one of them, or fresh eyes to take a look, then just add a new post to it and it moves to the front of the boards.

The census samples that Ann has posted relate to a woman married to a Henry William Bridger who had an oil and hardware shop, so can be eliminated.

Do you have her death certificate? It should give an address for where she was living when she died and the informant might give a clue.

Is it possible she was placed in an asylum? Unfortunately it was common to commit women for conditions such as postnatal depression.

The image for this entry says the lady is married and her occupation is listed as Domestic Servant.

No place of birth listed.

Elizabeth was born Elizabeth Hobday 1864 in Brighton. She married Albert Bridger in 1883 and they had a daughter, Frances, in 1890.
Elizabeth died 1908 in Brighton.
I have her in 1871, 1881, 1891 census records but cannot find her in 1901.
Her husband, Albert, is living with his mother in 1901 (RG13/928 F67 P24) and is recorded as married (recorded as widowed in 1911).
Their daughter Frances is living with her great uncle and aunt (1901: RG13/876 F7 P5). I cannot find Elizabeth anywhere - would appreciate some help locating her in 1901.
Thanks in advance
Gail
