Am trying to find birth and census records for Bessie Ridgway who married Major G. W. Collier on 08.10.1927 in Stockport. She is shown as aged 39 a spinster living at 38 Cooper Street Stockport. Her father is shown as Thomas Ridgway a collier. She died in 1965 in Stockport. This means she was born c1888. I have a full record of Major Collier but unable to trace Bessie prior to marriage.
