	Would anyone out there have the time to do some research dating back to the 1570's. I am trying to find the parentage of my earliest ancestor named Richard Grout[Growte] who was born in 1578 in Manuden Essex which i am lead to believe is on the border with Herts. As i live in the West Country i am a bit of a distance away! Am sure that they originated from that county and moved to Essex where he was then born.There is no record of any brothers or sisters for him and wonder whether they may have been born prior to re-location.
