	It was common practice in that era for Irish girls to travel to England to give birth, then return to Ireland as though nothing had happened, which must have been tough for them...........

	As the lady could easily be alive, you need to remove her actual DOB................before someone reports your post to GR

Mum is or was Irish. I do not want to panick anyone, and would not approach anyone. I just need to understand?
