I think the fact that the 1911 census images say Charles has 1 child and Rachel 2 may just have been a mistake by whoever filled in the census forms and what they really were trying to say was that was how many children they had living with them at the time.

That's all very odd.In the earlier census's they seemed to have 8 children, then there is Frank, making 9!!!!
