ProfilePosted byOptionsPost Date

Terence Report 9 Oct 2013 05:23

John Cox was a greengrocer/hawker in the Aston/Duddeston area of Birmingham about 1870 x 1900. I have his death certificate & he died 1918 aged 80yrs in Cato St. I'm trying to find details of his wife - Caroline. (nee Allwood). She was much younger born: circa 1851. They had 3 children Percy, Maude & Florence & I have their birth certificates.

I cannot find any birth, marriage or death for Caroline. Any help would be appreciated.

For OUR reference, is this the family in 1901???

Though I would point out that this John Cox is NOT as old as you say your guy was!!

This one is 50 in 1901, which means he would have been about 67 if he died in 1918.

This is the only other marriage I am seeing with father Timothy. It is probably the Caroline who witnessed Mary Ann's wedding.
