	He was with a William Burton and they reported the death of Alfred Greenhill (my relative) to the authorities.

	Was that his name, or could he have been Alfred KILLICK from Kent.. just thinking there are quite a few Killicks in Kent, so wondered if his origins had got mixed in with his name? Gwyn

	No..his name was def. Alfred Killick Kent,,,I believe his mothers maiden name was Killick. Born 1809-1811. Working as a merchant plumber in France in 1851. No...his name was Alfred Killick Kent, Mothers maiden name Killick. He was born 1809-1811 and was working as a merchant plumber in Boulogne in Dec 1851. sonya

Member Since: July 2008 Posts: 18,042 Send Message	Some 40 odd years after Alfred Greenhill's death there is a mention of Mr Killick Kent in a newspaper article Headline: THE FALL OF NAPOLEON'S STATUE AT BOULOGNE. Publication:Gloucester Citizen Publication date:Thursday 22 February 1894 The article is by the Boulogne sur Mer correspondent of the Times and was about the removal of a statue of Napoleon in that town (it was made of terracotta and had crumbled and was eventually blown over). The article mentions "It was erected in 1856 by Mr A Killick Kent, an enterprising trader in Boulogne".
