Jo, I'm pretty sure that your Ursula did not marry Frank G Burt, I think it's just a coincidence that there were two Ursula Jacksons and the tree owners on Ancestry have managed to mangle them together. Unless you have concrete proof?

Could this be your great gran?

Australia, Electoral Rolls, 1903-1980
Name: Ursula Mary Oakley
Gender: Female
Electoral Year: 1968
State: New South Wales
District: Parkes
Subdistrict: Drummoyne

Living 71 Gipps Street, no other Oakleys at that address.

Drummoyne was the district where her parents died in the 1940s

If that is the correct lady then she is in the same area in the 1930s, 40s and 50s so could not be married to a Burt in Victoria.

There's no mention of Walter with her on any of the ERs so presumable he'd gone off before the 1930s.

Jo Report 29 May 2014 11:30

I'm not sure what happened to my last post.
My grandma Ursula Mary Anne Jackson died Ursula Mary Anne Oakley.
My nan Eileen and my aunt Kathy (Kathleen) where born Oakley's.
Nan was born around 1916 and aunt Kathy was born 3years before her, she died of pneumonia from emphysema in balmain hospital and nan died in Victoria 2005 at age 89 so I'm assuming Ursula (grandma) had giving birth earlier around the age of 19/22.

Jo Report 29 May 2014 11:45

That sounds correct thank you . Thats exactly where she remained most of her life, around the drummoyne area, until aunt Kathy passed away grandma went blind and spent the rest of her days at basin view where she passed over.
I'm sorry I got nans birthday mixed up I was trying to work it out.
Yes it must be a coincidence that I'm for that its incorrect but at the same time a little bit disappointed that I don't have another aunt.
Thank you to everyone that's helped me with my family tree.
Kindest regards jo
