Trying to contact anyone who has done any research on the above, my late grandma's family lived in this area -William Belshaw was her father and Lillian (perkins) her mother - she was one of 11 children and life must have been very harsh?

Jacqueline

Jacqueline Report 15 Dec 2014 22:45

What are you hoping for?

Have you tried doing research yourself?

I'm sure the local FHS and the Library would have info, as would the County Records Office

Life wasn't necessarily harsh for everyone.................did your family have jobs?

Hi Jackie,

I think we may the same 6th great grandparents who were James Belshaw born 1736 and Mary Lambert born 1730 my line comes from their daughter Rebecca Belshaw born 1777 and I think your line is from her brother Joseph born 1772.
