	Have you not got her marriage cert as it should gave names of both parents on it if she married in Scotland There is a column which asks for the following info: Name, Surname, and Rank or Profession of Father Name, and Maiden Surname of Mother Or was the marriage before 1855 ?

	You say David Pitkeathly in your title but do you mean David MILLER?

	So I presume you have looked at this record with slight different spelling of surname Name: Euphemia Millar Gender: Female Christening Date: 12 Sep 1824 Christening Place: LIFF BENVIE AND INVERGOWRIE,ANGUS,SCOTLAND Father's Name: David Millar Possible siblings are Agnes and David. David can be found easily on 1851

	John & Euphemia's marriage record: 26/04/1850 PITKEATHLY JOHN EUPHEMIA MILLAR/ M LONGFORGAN DUNDEE CITY CITY/PERTH 377/00 0040 0287 This is the only marriage of a David Millar/Miller in Longforgan, 1538-1854, and the bride's name agrees with the name found by Beverley: 02/01/1820 MILLER DAVID CATHERINE SPRUNT/FR1386 (FR1386) M METHVEN /PERTH 380/00 0060 0100 If you buy credits on Scotlands People you can view the image, and it might perhaps give you her father's name - but OPR's don't usually give much info EDIT: The marriage below, found by GlitterBaby, is much more likely to be the right one - I hadn't taken note of Euphemia's birth in Liff.
