Did any of James & Ellen's kids die?

When I saw this:

Lancashire Birth indexes for the years: 1905
Surname Forename(s) Sub-District Registers At Mother's Maiden Name Reference
MELLING John William Billinge Wigan & Leigh BARTON BLLG/1/80
MELLING Jane Agnes Billinge Wigan & Leigh BARTON BLLG/1/81
http://www.lancashirebmd.org.uk

I was sure Jane was John's twin, and had died. But I found no death, and 1911 describes her as daughter in:

Schedule type Last names First names Sex Birth year Age in 1911 District / other County / other
HOUSEHOLD MELLING ALFRED M 1870 41 Wigan Lancashire
HOUSEHOLD MELLING ALICE F 1873 38 Wigan Lancashire
HOUSEHOLD MELLING MARY ELIZABETH F 1895 16 Wigan Lancashire
HOUSEHOLD MELLING FRANCES F 1896 15 Wigan Lancashire
HOUSEHOLD MELLING WILLIAM M 1897 14 Wigan Lancashire
HOUSEHOLD MELLING ELLEN F 1903 8 Wigan Lancashire
HOUSEHOLD MELLING JANE AGNES F 1905 6 Wigan Lancashire
HOUSEHOLD MELLING MARGARET ANN F 1909 2 Wigan Lancashire

*** COULD SOMEONE GIVE DETAILS OF THE ABOVE HOUSEHOLD ***

I had guessed Jane was a niece, but it seems not - I think Alice & Ellen were sis.

Seeing that Ancestry site was free today I decided to find James and Ellen in 1911
and print out the original image. I used the exact info kindly given to me earlier this week, names dates etc but could not find them.
Can someone tell me where they can be found as I don't know what I am doing wrong.
Thank you. Mary

Don't put in too much info.

The 1911 posted above was from FMP

Allow for mistranscriptions......enter just name and birth year.

If that doesn't work, try just forename, birth year and birthplace

Dea

Dea Report 3 Apr 2015 15:57

It is mistranscribed as MELLINE on Ancestry - Try putting that in the surname box Mary.
