I Have a William Blackham born 1856/57 in Ambergate Belper Derbyshire father Thomas mother ??? William married Emma Ault 16th June 1885 at St Chads Lichfield Staffordshire (her parents Jacob Ault & Emma Shipley, Emma went on to later marry a Thomas Wallbank)
Emma (daughter) married a Albert Sanger in 1918 in Kidderminster he died 1934 she died 1935 both in Burton-on-Trent
William Blackham (have never found a marriage for them )met a Alice Jessie Hawkins & they had 7 children (I have all of their names)
What I am trying to find out who was William Blackham's
mother
I have 3 William Blackham's born in 1856 at Belper
(1 ) William born 3/8/1856 died 16/1/1931 parents Thomas born 1821 died 4/8/1877 & Elizabeth Crofts born 1822 died 1883. But I have him married to Susannah Thrall in 1877
(2) William born 1856/1857 parents Thomas Blackham born 1829 died 1905 & Mary Boswell born 1838 died 1915 I have this William married to Mary Ann Turner in 1876
(3) William born 1856 parents John Blackham born 1823 died 1884 & Fanny Swift born 1822 who married 4/2/1843.I have no marriage for this William.

I was hoping his mother was named on it but only his father, Thomas and wife, Emma.
He was in South Africa between July 1879 and May 1880 then from May 1880 to 1879 he was at home.

This is the William with Susannah so not him.

Thank You everyone for your information, I have now found I had William Blackham with the wrong parents,they are Thomas Blackham & Mary Boswell I had William with wife Mary Ann Turner as their son but his parents were John Blackham & Fanny Swift.I now have the huge task of deleting quite a bit of information,I had a feeling I might have mixed up families.
