thanks for the replys..I think there is a irish connection....I have been reading old threads on here and came across one from 2007..the names ..dates and marrage details all match..ant the posre was saying she though john Obrien was born in middleton county cork ..but iv been unable to find him on the irish records yet....on his marrage cert. it says his occupation is bomb..R.F.A.trying to think what that could stand for ..maybe royal fleet aux ....not sure ...im still trying to piece this family together ..fits difficult to find his wife on any records except her marrage cert.......she was born Margaret charlotte lucy mary winkworth...

It would be helpful to know how old John was.

EDIT: sorry, just noticed he was 28!



Although he was living at Farnham in 1920, that was probably because of his job, so he could have been brought up anywhere by his farmer father.

I don't think he'll be the one posted by malyon above, as that one's father was a labourer in London.



EDIT again:

I've just looked at the image of the marriage cert, and his residence was Farnborough, not Farnham.
But it's still in the Aldershot area.
