Bertha born 22 Sep 1891, Harrow entry looks promising, as she did live in Harrow at some point when my mother knew her.

Do you have the Birth Cert for your Father? If you do what was John Price's occupation and the address given for birth?

Geoffrey Galsworthy birth certificate lists John Price, Galsworthy added as a further line under John Price, definitely not a Galsworthy as he died in 1925 although did use the name Galsworthy. ( so he was the same as the siblings I guess)

There is a death for that Bertha in 1975 ...date of birth the same ..in Enfield

on geoffrey birth in 1931 says father galsworthy mother barnett wonder if bertha changed the name to price

8 births surname Galsworthy, mmn Barnett are showing 1913-1922 and then 2 in 1931 and 1933 on GRO indexes all in Neath.

Possibly the death registered in 1975 Enfield RD then for Bertha - Enfield/Hendon not so far apart.

Bertha Galsworthy nee Barnett is my grandmother, born in 1891 in Corsham, Chippenham. Bertha moved to the Neath area I assume around 1912 - 13 where she lived with Arthur Francis Galsworthy, with whom she had 9 children. Bertha married Arthur in 1925, he died in the same year. My father is Geoffrey Galsworthy, born in 1931, but his father on his birth certificate and that of two brothers born in 1930 and 1933 is John Price who I believe to be my grandfather but I cannot find anything out about him. I think Betha moved to Harrow or Hendon in 1934 - 36 with her children but not I don't think with John Price.

Without more information it is unlikely we can determine the correct John Price.

Do you have any idea of ages of John or Bertha, their marital status, any other first names, whether anyone else might be living with them for instance.

There are 19 John Prices showing in Neath on the 1939 register and almost another 30 with J as an initial.

No Bertha Galsworthy in Neath, many Berthas. The only Bertha Galsworthy is Bertha H in Aldershot b 1872 and 3 Galsworthys with second initial B - in Hants, Glos., or Cornwall
