Looking for John Roper born 1817 to. Francis & Esther Roper the family lived at Rise end Wirksworth Derbyshire but cannot find him anywhere neither can I find in the death register would be grateful for any help

SECOND EDIT: Looks unlikely to be this Henry, after all, as alviegal has posted what looks like the marriage for the couple in this census further down the thread, with a father named FRANCIS for the groom.

RE the marriage Alviegirl has posted for Henry John Roper - I note the father is FRANCIS, as per the baptism for John baptised 1817.

Obviously the baptism for Henry 1818 that I posted is not the right one. so is John H, alias Henry John, actually the chap baptised John, after all?

many thanks to all those who helped to locate John Roper it certainly seems that. Henry John is the on e I am looking for although he was christened just John he also had a brother Henry born 10years later however I have now seen the existence of a will in1865 which if I can manage to it see will confirm or otherwise
