You do have to buy the certificate to get the mother's full name, unless you are lucky enough to find a tree on here or on ancestry that has the information.

Genealogy can be an expensive hobby!

On 1881 - those were the only people in the household as there was a completed mark on there under William.

The rest of the page was completely empty so I don't know why Ancestry put all those 'untranscribed' messages underneath.

This may be Thomas b. 1875 in Longton. If so, it would seem that Mary Harding is his mother.

I'm thinking its Emily Harding again 1859 who married William Lymer in. 1880 I'm wondering if she had another illegitimate son in 1875 too as well as William Thomas Harding Lymer b 1880

It depends on the area whether parish records have been uploaded to a website

Not every marriage details are online .many you still have to buy the cert
