All the information on the marriage cert is as AQ stated. There's no more detail.

As you apparently already knew that his father was George, is there anything else you haven't told us about him which might provide us with any clue?

I don't see any likely George in Belfast - or anywhere in Ireland in 1901 or 1911.

Thanks but i can't find the marriage on the site. would it be possible to give me all the details on the marriage certificate including Jane's father.

George is the right father, not James.
Can anyone find a George in Belfast who might be James's father

Thanks a lot

Hello Richard,

Click the link safc gave you, and then click 'civil records'. Type in the search James Keys 1916 Kells and tick marriage. After verifying you are not a robot you can view the image of the marriage.

Thank-His actual death certificate says he was 66 when he died in 1954 hence the birth year I originally gave.

Any information on the above? All I know is that he was baptised in St Pauls RC church on the Falls Road and subsequently moved to Kells County Meath - where married Jane McGuire in 1916. Served in WW1 and may have been invalided out. Died in 1954 in Liverpool. Thanks for any information you might have.
