What a marvellous hobby.

It's certainly unusual, if OH is right. It's just that he remembers visiting when he was a small boy, and there were sets of false teeth around the place. So he assumed that his grandfather made them as a living, until he started genealogy, and all censuses showed him as a clerk in the cotton mills.

As he was still doing that in 1939, OH decided that making/collecting false teeth must have been a hobby!!

Did you know that Walter entered a children's poetry competition in 1891 when he was around 13 or 14 ?

He didn't win a prize but his name was mentioned in the Preston Herald Newspaper at the time.
