Member Since: July 2005 Posts: 10,494 Send Message	Trees on Ancestry gives the Father's death as 1876 (St Leonard's on Sea) and Mother 1902 (Hunslet, Yorks). Probate says died Ticehurst (late of Church Street, Durham) and Administration of effects was granted to Susannah of Church Street. None of the trees have John Arthur in 1881. By 1889 he is said to be a Professor of Piano in London at the RCM. Ethel is in Barrow in Furness in 1891 with Brother Ernest.

Looking around at other census and probate records, it doesn't look as though they were short of the proverbial bob or two ! If that were the case, they wouldn't show on Passenger lists (none to Europe) Either that or they are very badly transcribed ..............

In place of the homily in the marriage service, the Vicar delivered an appropriate address......' 17 April 1888 - Tenbury Wells Advertiser - Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire, England He gave his sister Caroline Sybil, away here. Edith was a bridesmaid. Still not finding them in 1881.
