They would have been living at 14 Townshend Terrace, Richmond into the early 1950’s. Does anyone know which polling district this address would fall under? Many thanks.

Electoral registers weren't published 1940-44 because of the war.

I’ve also been able to trace them now via a manual search of the 1938 electoral roll at 30 Harold Road. Now just trying to trace them at 14 Townshend Terrace, Richmond, Surrey which should be their address at some point during WW2. Thanks to anyone who can trace this.

Thanks Maddie. I found those addresses prior to Harold Road, but unable to trace Harold Road. Very thankful.

Thanks ArgyllGran - I indeed have all BMD info on both and hold the certificates themselves. The addresses are from my father’s memory, however he’s hazy on the dates and it seems he remembered #36 Harold Road when in fact is was #30. Thanks so much. And yes, Charles Edward SMITH could be a lodger.

Thanks PricklyHolly - indeed this confirms the 1939 register find I also traced. My father told me they only lived here very shortly as he believed his parents missed the Wesley Estate community. Thanks again.

I’m trying to confirm my grandparents whereabouts from 1934 to 1954. The last find I have via an electoral roll is in 1933 at 2 St Stephens Villas, Ealing, Middlesex, England.

I know they lived at the following addresses afterwards, but not sure of the years, but should be in this order:

12 Harold Road, Park Royal, London (this was on the Wesley Estate built by Harold Wesley who owned Harley Mills of a.o. Harley Bond stationery)
Cornwood Field End Road, Ruislip-Northwood, Middlesex (via 1939 register - I am informed they only lived his for a few months)
36 (now understand this was actually #30) Harold Road, Park Royal, London (also on Wesley Estate)
14 Townshend Terrace, Richmond-upon-Thames, Surrey (should be here at some point during WW2)

Names:
Charles Richard WILLIAMS
Annie Rosina WILLIAMS (née SPITTLE)
Possibly also at these addresses: Charles F WILLIAMS (a lodger)

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help confirm the timings of the above addresses via an electoral roll.

Regards,
Rebecca
