This seems to be his arrival in Canada, age is a little different because the original is very difficult to read. He's listed as a transport worker, born Newcastle. Nearest relative at home was wife Mrs. Pescod, Bykerhill, Byker, Newcastle (it's written in "will follow next spring"). He's going to join mother Mrs. A. Wilson (Wilson is crossed out and changed to what looks like Wibrown), 230 River St., Toronto.

There's more than one John Pescod so he may not be the same man

A tree on ancestry has a picture of him and Elizabeth Lucy and he is in army uniform

Emma, anyone wishing to message you will do so via GR, so please remove your email address as T & Cs advise against putting it on this open board ( you could get all kinds of spam!).

I have been looking into my great grandfather... and could not find a death record for him in the UK... he lived around byker and Newcastle in the transport business, My grandmother also started featuring still being married years after hes no longer on the household records.
Then I found a record for him travelling to Canada and listed as going to live there as below? I started to think did he go and never come back???? His birth is 1885/6 and he married Elizabeth LUCY Camp(b1887-1950) in England 1908 in Newcastle.

the travel record below is 1929 and there is no more mentions of him a at home with wife after this... although shs is not down as a widow in 1939 still says m although living alone.
