Hi Greyghost

Yes thats him in 1891

He married Jemima Morrison in 1894. She is on 1901 as a soldiers wife and 1911 as Mrs Theodore Chalmers.

The surname is very very common in Banff/Aberdeen. I'm trying to work down a family tree to a birth sometime around 1927.

Thanks everyone.

Yes that could well be his death.

What I'm trying to do is work from a match on a DNA test. The match says third cousin to the name I have. The problem is, the name I have is just that a name and rough date of birth, so I'm searching the tree from the DNA match.I'm having to check every stem from about GGGrandparents downwards.Hope that makes sense.
