Family elusive ! There was another Barber family 1841 where Father was an Engineer.

IF this were brother James in 1851 (Mechanic like Father) it at least shows he was born Manchester.

Hello everyone
I wonder if you can help me with William barber' He was born 1835 (according to the 1841 census) for Salford. in Lancashire
His first marriage was on 20th November 1854 to emma hayer at St Andrews church Ancoates, manchester William is 19yrs old and Emma is 18yrs old,william is a mechanic with fathers name John barber also (a mechanic)
their witnesses are Samuel smith and mary smith.
I don't know what happened to Emma or if they had any children as I can't find him on the 1861 1871 and 1881 censuses...Then I find another marriage for him:William barber age 43,widower, Married jane henshall 8th January 1882 at stowell memorial Salford Janes father is James Reynolds (I am not after any info for jane as I have it all , thanks She says she is a widow on the 1891 census
