Hope someone can help me.!

I am looking for the birth date and whereabouts of the above after 1881 census.
His wife died in 1885, her name Julia Bloomfield. Their 3 children, Robert Bloomfield (mothers son), Frederick French and Emma French are all in St. Johns Home, Ipswich, and Frederick is listed as ordinary inmate, pauper., in 1891 census.

Thanks to anyone who can help. :-)

But if I'm reading your opening post correctly, you only want to know about Frederick senior after 1891? Not the children?

Sue

Sue Report 12 Aug 2018 22:13

Thank you all for your input. I will check all the info. out. The comment from Argyllgran re Emma French looks as if it could be Freds daughter.

Argyllgran, yes you do read opening post correctly, i have the children, i.e. Frederick Junior being the main one, but i didnt have Emma in 1911. I'm sure that is her.

Bit of a dead end, as unknown could mean anywhere.!!!!!

Thankyou Argyllgran for all the info on Emma. Yes i did have Frederick, but thank you for all your help.

Maylon thank you. it may be possible he did emigrate.

AustinQ your info. is v. interesting. It could be him, I dont have a copy of the marriage cert., but becoming a boarder, then in the workhouse, would certainly fit the bill very well. Am going to look at these records now. Thank you for finding this.

Sue Sorry for the delay in replying but have been away today.
