I do have Henry and Margaret,s marriage on Scotland,s people , I am trying to find out where they went after the marriage and how would I find out if they might have emigrated or if Henry Baxter may have been in the force,s and if yes could that be why I can not find a birth for their daughter Jane Baxter ...

Maybe they didn't stay in Scotland so jane was born elswwhere

Scottish bmds didn't start till 1855 so you won't get a certificate

You may find the parish record but doubt it will give lots of family info

Hi All .. Henry Baxter and Margaret Douglas married in Govan Lanarkshire Scotland my question is if I get their marriage certificate would it give their dates of birth and /or their parents names ,I have them married on 26th Dec 1824 but can not find them anywhere after this although their daughter Jane Baxter 2nd wife of George McNaught married in Ireland in 1871 , I also can not find a birth for Jane in Scotland or Ireland any help would be appreciated many thanks
